Mission statement: House of Muses, is a non-profit street ministry out of Cleveland, Ohio. we focus on Art and Media to help us accomplish our goal. Our goal is simple, we want to teach, reach, and supply the resources to help the Kingdom of God grow.
We understand the importance of not just reading the word but understanding it for ourselves. At House of Muses, we want readers to have the power for individual, family, and generational breakthroughs.
We love to not only supply content but work with the community in outreach, and even partnering with other ministries. As Christians, we must not only love one another like Christ loves us, but to spread the good news of the gospel. We pray that our ministry is a blessing to you.
DISCIPLESHIP
Discipleship is important to us because that is the foundation of Christianity to help one another and pour into each other, in Luke, the word tells us; "but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail, once you have turned back again, strengthen and support your brothers.” we all have different levels of understanding of the word and that's okay but you want to get the most out of your reading and ultimately be able to grow in your faith and understanding. Discipleship helps us understand the will that god has for us or even just helps us with things we don't understand. The Bible tells us to be fishers of men, that we are to tend to his sheep. We are all his sheep and at different times will need to be strengthened whether it be through grief or just to help interpret a word.
COLLABORATION
We are all taught to "tend to my sheep," "to disciples one another" and to be "fishers of men." That's why working with other brands and ministries is so important to us. We love it when we can collaborate with other like-minded individuals. There is no need to compete with one another in the kingdom of god, he has a lane and purpose for each of us. in Ecclesiastics chapter 4, we read how the lord loves when we work together. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow." as the body of Christ we need one another more than we realize.
Bible -Based Teaching
House of Muses stands on teaching and sharing the words that are only in the bible, anything else is false teaching, and that is not what we are about. Everything that we need to know about god has already been place in the Bible. we take spreading the word of god seriously and understand that god frowns on false teaching. The Lord has many times stated his disapproval of false teachings from Deuteronomy to even the New Testament. The Lord even mentions false teaching could in death, "But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.” Deuteronomy 18:20
